Frontier AirNode
The Frontier AirNode is a Wi-Fi AirNode from World Mobile that brings a business in the Philippines online. You buy it from NodeEmpire and, as the operator, you own the device. Installation and operation on site are handled by a local team – you operate the Frontier remotely.
What you get
- A Frontier AirNode from World Mobile with its own device ID
- Economic ownership of the device and entitlement to the operator share according to the currently valid World Mobile program
- Status and rewards in the official World Mobile AirNode dashboard
- 1-year hardware warranty from World Mobile¹
- Invoice from NodeEmpire and personal support during processing
¹Extendable through World Mobile. The statutory warranty remains unaffected.
The device and its use
Each Frontier AirNode is assigned to a business that has already contractually ordered the connection – such as restaurants, hotels, shops, or coworking spaces. The launch takes place on the island of Siargao, mainly around General Luna.
Community Wi-Fi Corporation (CWC) installs and operates the devices on site. eSariSari provides the internet service to the businesses. You do not have to travel to the Philippines or install anything.
Four models
- Frontier Core: €525
- Frontier Plus: €665
- Frontier Pro: €890
- Frontier Max: €1,735
All prices are total prices per unit; no VAT is charged.
The models differ in price and in the customer package to which the AirNode is linked. The higher the model, the stronger the business location and the higher-value the customer package.
How it works
- You order and pay at NodeEmpire. Use the same email address as in the World Mobile dashboard.
- We pass on the quantity and email address to World Mobile.
- World Mobile sends you two agreements (Operator and Host Agent) by email. You sign them via DigiSigner. You can view the blank versions here beforehand. According to the operator agreements, insurance according to World Mobile's specifications is mandatory.
- Your Frontier will appear in your dashboard no later than 30 days after receipt of payment. After that, CWC assigns it to a customer package, installs it, and activates the business's connection. It can take up to 60 days after that until the Frontier is live. Rewards only start once it goes live.
- Until the Frontier appears in your dashboard, you can cancel at any time (info@nodeempire.io). As a consumer, you also have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date it appears in the dashboard. Details: Terms and Conditions and Right of Withdrawal Policy.
- In the dashboard, you can see the status, uptime, and rewards.
Who does what
- NodeEmpire: Sales, invoicing, passing on the quantity and email to World Mobile, personal explanation, and point of contact for processing. We do not manage any nodes and are not part of the payout flow.
- World Mobile: operates the network, calculates the rewards, and pays them out.
- CWC (Community Wi-Fi Corporation): supports the businesses on site, installs, operates, and maintains the devices.
- eSariSari: provides the internet service to the businesses.
Note on rewards
The Frontier receives a monthly operator reward according to the currently valid World Mobile program. It only starts when the connected business's connection goes live – not on the purchase date. If a business leaves the service, CWC looks for a new customer or deploys the device at another location. During this time, rewards may be paused. Rewards depend on active customer usage, operating status, and World Mobile's terms – no guarantee. Public Wi-Fi and additional services are not included at launch. World Mobile calculates and pays out the rewards. * Referral link: NodeEmpire may receive a commission.
